Today was the German and Portugese general elections and also the first real test of the Recession and especially the bailouts. In Germany a fiscal Conservative Angela Merkel defeated her Social Democratic rival. In Portugal the governing Socialists won the general election, but lost their majority. What is the meaning of these two elections? Well in Japan the people threw out fifty years of one party rule, and installed more of a left leaning party, why?
Lets start in Japan, the governing party for one assumed they would be in power forever, second they threw billions in bailout money and the companies receiving that money failed anyways and laid off tens of thousands. The party also assumed most people would blame the recession instead of the party and went along as if nothing happened. Then halfway through the campaign the polls showed the people had lost faith, not only in the party but also the system, and the way things were being run. The result a lanslide for the opposition SDP, the LDP had suffered a humiliating defeat, and fifty years of one party rule ended.
In Portugal the governing socialists lost their majority. Why? because they had been involved in bailing out foreign companies, and the job losses continued. The only reason the Socialists stayed in power was because they instituted social reforms that has changed the country. Portugal before the Socialists was one of the poorest nations in Europe. The election was a strong message to socialists everywhere, socialism for the poor not for the banks and the corporations.
In Germany Angela Merkel took the Social Democrats to town. why? because unlike others she didn't give into the pro bailout movement sweeping around the world. No Merkel stuck to her fiscal Conservative principles and didn't give Opel or any other company billions in big business Socialism. Although she's ultra Conservative I can say she deserved to win, oh and the opposition SDP was in her government, so they really couldn't say much. In fact the so called Socialists in Germany were in favour of the bailouts, foolishly following Obama, Brown and others.
So what have these three examples taught us, well for one Communists and far right parties had their best results since the second World War. Second the bailout and the recession played a major factor and in all three examples history repeated itself. In the deepest part of the depression the United States overthrew a President that didn't give money to failing companies, Germany saw gains by both Communism, the Nazi and other fringe parties and strong politicians ruled the day. Makes you think doesn't it? Thanks for reading
Later all.

Why the Green Party is a Fraud
All around the world Green Parties have been springing up like rotten eggs. In Europe we have the Green coalition in their parliament. In the United States we had Ralf Nader as North Americas version of the Green third Party candidate. In Canada of course we presently have Elizabeth May as leader of the Green Party of Canada who made bug strides in getting in the debate this past year, as well as other Provincial Party leaders. What is at the heart of this movement of preported global environnmental change? Are the Green Parties around the world left or right? And finally what is the real motive of these Parties, who is their target? and who are their backers?
Lets start with their history, the first Green Party to contest an election was in New Zealand in the 1972 general election. Since then Green Parties have enveloped the entire globe. The early Green Parties were the underdogs, a group of people forming in communities around the world to fight globalist corporations and their crimes of global porportions. Since that point in time and with a few exceptions in between Green Parties have called on the Governments to cut taxes and spend more and more on the environment as a whole.
The problem with the whole theory of cutting taxes to the point where they only fund the environment is that where do the other Government programs go? Where is the Social responsiblity? Which leads me to my theory that the Green Party has been highjacked from its original intent of helping the environment and insuring that never ends and then going away, into a Party whose intent is to destroy the United Left and or Socialist Parties around the globe. Taking votes from the left wing Parties isn't only the case in Canada or more famously in the United States, but it occurs in every single election in Europe.
In Germany for example the Green Party is part of a coalition with the Socialists as as are the Greens in France, but if those two nations Green Parties voters had voted for the Socialists, neither Angela Merkel nor Nikolas Sarkozy would be in power in those two countries. In my ancestoral country Greece, the Greens came about in 2002, a relatively short period of time, and although they won't be a distraction this time around, in the future I fear Socialism in Greece will be a thing of the past, because of this fraud.
Are the Greens Left or Right, well they say neither, and that they bring all political parties together as one. Well in Greece the Xenophobic Racist Nationalist LAOS Party says the exact same thing, should the Greek people believe what those nutbars say? No and I don't believe what the Green frauds say either. Their Social policy consists of making the University tuition free, and I whole heartedly agree with that policy, but where will this party of "economic sense" get the money to fund this if they cut taxes across the board as they say?
My belief is that the Green Party of Canada and all others have to be described as the right wing phonies they really are. Their right wing economic policies don't mix with their Socialist and left wing beginnings. Don't get me wrong, some elements within the Green Parties are starting to get wind of who exactly is in control of the babies they created for good, and are either revolting within or are fighting externally to expose the fraud that is the modern day Green Party.

Time to Regulate it Eh?
With hard economic times as they are for the common man I've decided to take a look at the possible benefits of the legalizing and Government distribution of marijuana. Would a MCBO (Marijuana Control Board of Ontario) or any other control system of any Province really be such a bad idea? During this period of human economic history would such an idea that would take this marketing tool away from the dope dealers really be so harmful for our society? These questions must seriously be looked at by our obviously brain damaged politicians, no offence Andrea Horwath and the rest of the New Democrats.
What would regulation look like, well I'll paint you a picture. Imagine entering an Ontario M.C.B.O and picking from the domestic marijuana labelled on the counter to the left. Imports on the right would obviously cost some more, but never more than what is on the street. A Provincial charge of $8.50 for a dime bag, which means a dollar fifty cheaper than the neighborhood pusher charges for BC bud, who is more and more being squeezed out by big Government, wow time to shed a tear. LOL. While the "little guy" is being sqeezed out by "big bad government" the older population of Ontario which has grown bigger and bigger with the baby boomer generation is enjoying homecare benefits coming from the selling of the products, as is the new mother who has an extra day to recover from giving birth to another productive memeber of society.
This vision of the future of the Ontario health system is a reality if only our current governing pinheads had the gonads to act. The decriminalization at the federal level was a step in the right direction, but legalizing and regulating it would be a step in solving our upcoming health crisis. The money needed to take care of our baby boomer seniors will be enormous and keeping the status quo is not the right answer. That being said the system in Ontario and elsewhere needs to be tightened up. The need will be to strengthen our driving under the influence laws to be tighter on drivers who are caught while driving while being stoned, that is a must.
The amount of Government and other kinds of jobs that will be created will be enormous. In the times that we are in, that is also a must. Another thing that must be done is make marijuana the last legalized substance, I can't understand some elements of the legalization movement that calls on other substances like crack, cocaine etc to be legalized as well. That whole notion discredits the entire legalzation movement as a political force and communal force. The movement is strong at the grass roots ( no pun intended) there is no need for these people to be taken seriously.
I would like to say that under normal circumstances I wouldn't call on legalization, but as I have said before the tough economic times calls for it. Finally I ask all parties to stand behind the movement and legalize marijuana. We are all adults here and this is the 21st Century, lets wake up and do the right thing at the right moment. Thank you.
Later folks.

Question: Is the Recession a Tool for the Greedy?
I like other common people have been hit by the recession. I am jobless and quickly running out of savings in the piggybank. Things are so desperate I now have to go to plan B and look for a job the old fashioned way, actually going to a place of business and giving my Resume. Since the recession started last year towards the end of 2008 and the businesses began laying off people I began questioning the whole process, is this recession being used by these companies, possibly with the help of the Government to destroy not only the jobs of the common man but also to break the modern day union as it's currently structured or possibly destroy them altogether?
I then began looking at how we arrived at this point, the recession had been caused by the meltdown in the subprime mortgage scandle of August to October 2008. Then came the greed at wall street oops it has always been there, sorry folks. The fact that George W Bush was controlling the US economy for eight years didn't help either and when you have the worlds only superpower's wealth being controlled by a moron, well then you have what we have to this date, a complete failure by the private greedy non shelant of society destroying everything for everyone else.
One personal story I have to share first before I move on with my theory on the recession. I was in a similar position in 2003 I needed a job and security wasn't what I wanted to continue to be in, I did have a job then though and thus was looking to improve on my situation. That Easter I met a fellow Greek Canadian at Church, he worked for Primerica, an American firm that dealt in stocks mortgages etc. We went in one day into a seminar where they were teaching us about the market. We got into discussing about the Great Depression, I stood up when it was time for questions and asked the University educated prof like gentleman, do you think it is possible for another similar situation to happen again? and with a look of genuine certainty said "I have no doubt that the market will never let it happen again". I asked again are you sure the markets are regulated enough for a situation similar to the great depression to never happen again and he said "trust me it will never happen again". Well I guess we've seen what a market based theory looks like in 2009 compaired with the greedy times of pre recession.
As the rich get ever fewer in number and the middle class evaporates before our eyes my question again is this what the market has in mind for society, the so called theory of the markets are too high, so lets bring it down so we can restart type of thing. I mean I'm not a specialist on economics but that theory could be possible, but there is another one I would like you to contemplate. What if the businesses along with the mostly right wing Governments around the world are intentionally firing people causing businesses to go under and breaking unions to create another war? Or to enslave the people? The wealthy elite are at the top, their position is not in doubt. The only jobs we can find are those that secure the rich and those that fight their wars overseas. The jobs we used to have are in China, Mexico and some other nations that I doubt even have unions. Even if they do they are chased around and killed like in Columbia, thank you Stephen Harper for that trade agreement.
In closing you might think this theory is way out of wack, but do the research, look at history as a guide into what the intention of the most powerful are. We must unite around the world to say no to these elites, we must fight for rights in China, Mexico etc but only after we gain our full workers right here in our home and native land. Remember the old saying, change begins at home and look in the mirror before judging, but if we don't begin changing other societies ours will be in further limbo. Thank you for reading this post and Good day.

Recognize Foreign Credentials Now!
During the 2008 Federal election campaign my riding Don Valley West was a key battleground for the fight on recognizing foreign credentials. Although my candidate lost I learned a lot from going door to door. The pain and frustrations shown by people with obvious skills able to help Canada in it's time of need and yet unable to procede with their skill because both establishment parties don't see fit to fix this problem.
I understand that Canadian companies and organizations want the full teaching mechanism to be enforced on new Canadians before they are able to work in their field, but eight years to learn the Canadian ethics and laws and standards is quite rediculous at least to me it is. I also don't get how Government believes that allowing this to continue helps Canada's unemployment issue. It has been a year and yet the Canadian Parliament has yet to bring this to a vote and to that I say shame. I have also yet to hear from my member of Parliament Mr Rob Oliphant on this issue. His main argument during the campaign was for foreign credentials to be recognized and yet he has been silent in Parliament on this issue.
Although it is not a big surprise that the establishment parties in Canada have not brought this up for debate, it is a shock though that not even a wisper has been raised except for the NDP and the Bloc Quebecqois. This shameful display by the two establishment parties in Parliament not only on this issue but on others makes me ashamed to call this Government and the opposition my Government. I can only ask the readers that during the next election which is just around the corner throw the bums out and elect a non establishment party to power, only you have that right to exact change in politics, only the people have the power during elections.
This is going to be a short blog but I must also say that our thinking must change before our action does. My favourite quote from the bible is from John the Baptist who said before empires can change, men must change. It is time to legislate through foreign credentials now not later. The last example of what this legislation would achieve is this, and there are hundreds of others but this is the best in my opinion. The homeless that walk our streets obviously have no place to stay and yet new Canadians like the ones in my riding have to live in Government housing because they work as security guards and taxi drivers. If this legislation was pushed threw parliament we wouldn't have to spend money building housing we would already have it.
The homeless off the streets and those who will be benefitted by this will be in the middle class with more money to spend on the economy and thus pumping more money into Canadians wallets or investing in repairing our delapedated social housing. Killing two birds with one stone that's effective government. Thanks for reading, don't be afraid to leave a comment.
