Time to Regulate it Eh?

With hard economic times as they are for the common man I've decided to take a look at the possible benefits of the legalizing and Government distribution of marijuana. Would a MCBO (Marijuana Control Board of Ontario) or any other control system of any Province really be such a bad idea? During this period of human economic history would such an idea that would take this marketing tool away from the dope dealers really be so harmful for our society? These questions must seriously be looked at by our obviously brain damaged politicians, no offence Andrea Horwath and the rest of the New Democrats.

What would regulation look like, well I'll paint you a picture. Imagine entering an Ontario M.C.B.O and picking from the domestic marijuana labelled on the counter to the left. Imports on the right would obviously cost some more, but never more than what is on the street. A Provincial charge of $8.50 for a dime bag, which means a dollar fifty cheaper than the neighborhood pusher charges for BC bud, who is more and more being squeezed out by big Government, wow time to shed a tear. LOL. While the "little guy" is being sqeezed out by "big bad government" the older population of Ontario which has grown bigger and bigger with the baby boomer generation is enjoying homecare benefits coming from the selling of the products, as is the new mother who has an extra day to recover from giving birth to another productive memeber of society.

This vision of the future of the Ontario health system is a reality if only our current governing pinheads had the gonads to act. The decriminalization at the federal level was a step in the right direction, but legalizing and regulating it would be a step in solving our upcoming health crisis. The money needed to take care of our baby boomer seniors will be enormous and keeping the status quo is not the right answer. That being said the system in Ontario and elsewhere needs to be tightened up. The need will be to strengthen our driving under the influence laws to be tighter on drivers who are caught while driving while being stoned, that is a must.

The amount of Government and other kinds of jobs that will be created will be enormous. In the times that we are in, that is also a must. Another thing that must be done is make marijuana the last legalized substance, I can't understand some elements of the legalization movement that calls on other substances like crack, cocaine etc to be legalized as well. That whole notion discredits the entire legalzation movement as a political force and communal force. The movement is strong at the grass roots ( no pun intended) there is no need for these people to be taken seriously.

I would like to say that under normal circumstances I wouldn't call on legalization, but as I have said before the tough economic times calls for it. Finally I ask all parties to stand behind the movement and legalize marijuana. We are all adults here and this is the 21st Century, lets wake up and do the right thing at the right moment. Thank you.

Later folks.
